Sehr empfehlenswert Il Melograno“   Wir haben im August 2015 einen herrlichen und stressfreien Familienurlaub in Rom verbracht. Anreise mit dem Nachtzugund eine Woche entspannte Stadterkundung haben sich sehr gelohnt. Die geschmackvoll renovierte und klimatisierte (im August sehr vorteilhaft!) Wohnung liegt in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße im Stadtteil Gianicolense/Monteverde. Die supernetten Vermieter haben uns stets mit besten Insidertipps versorgt und alle Absprachen haben in Englisch problemlos geklappt. Die Wohnung liegt im Erdgeschoss und hat eine kleine Terrasse mit dem namengebendenGranatapfelbäumchen ( Melograno). Zu Fuß erreicht man in ca. 200 m Entfernung die Straßenbahn und Buslinien, mit denen man innerhalb von 10 – 15 Minuten in die Innenstadt kommt. Wer gut zu Fuß ist, kann auch mit einem schönen Spaziergang durch den Park Villa Pamphiliden Aussichtspunkt am Monte Gianicolo erreichen oder durch das beschauliche Trastevere in die Stadt schlendern. Wir können die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen und werden sicher in den nächsten Jahren wieder einmal dorthin fahren.

"Il Melograno" Altamente consigliato! Abbiamo trascorso, nell'agosto 2015, una meravigliosa vacanza a Roma, senza stress e in famiglia. Il viaggio di notte in treno è stato ripagato da una settimana di esplorazione della città molto rilassante. La casa, ristrutturata con gusto e climatizzata (cosa molto gradita ad agosto!) è situata in una strada tranquilla nel quartiere Gianicolense/ Monteverde. I padroni di casa, gentilissimi, ci hanno dato sempre i suggerimenti migliori, da "insider", e per ogni esigenza abbiamo comunicato facilmente in inglese. L'appartamento è al piano terra ed è dotato di un piccolo giardino terrazzato con un albero di melograno che da il nome alla casa. Andando a piedi, a circa 200 m, si raggiungono le fermate del tram e degli autobus con cui si arriva nel centro della città  in 10/15 minuti.  Chi ama camminare può arrivare anche al colle del Gianicolo,  passando per il bellissimo parco di villa Pamphilj o passeggiare tranquillamente per Trastevere verso il centro della città. Noi consigliamo vivamente questo alloggio e torneremo sicuramente nei prossimi anni.

Giuliana’s home is simply the cleanest place we have stayed in our voyages in Nord America and Europe. We came from Toronto-Canada to Rome, met our friends from Aachen-Germany and Giuliana’s apartment perfectly accommodated 4 adults. All appliances are like new condition, the beds and pillows very comfortable, the terrace just lovely for breakfasts or happy-hours ! Giuliana was very helpful with tailored tips on where to eat and visit while in Rome based on our ideas and preferences of what we wanted to do. The neighbourhood is very quiet yet, 5 minutes walking distance to the streetcar that will take you to the old city in 5 minutes or city center in about 15 minutes. The streets around the apartment are narrow with parked cars on both sides yet, we stayed 10 days and always found free parking nearby even late at night. Zooming out on the map, the apartment is located very conveniently on the South-West of Rome, it was very easy to reach the highway to the international airport Fiumicino or other major highways. In our future vacations to Rome, we will definitely try to see if Giuliana’s home will be available as it was great overall experience.
